Galia Oriya Cukierman is a leader in sustainability, innovation, and community impact. As a co-organizer of TEDxJaffa, she has fostered transformative discussions on smart cities, gender empowerment, and sustainable living. A lecturer at the Hebrew University, Galia pioneered Israel’s first academic courses in Urban Agriculture and Sustainable Food, earning multiple “Best Lecturer” awards.
Currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Tel Aviv University, her research explores the global contributions of community gardens to sustainability. In addition, she consults for top organizations, mentors emerging leaders, and drives environmental initiatives that empower women and promote ecological solutions.
